The Fearless Mind

Life is a performance whether you're on the field, in the courtroom, or running a household. But many of us, when asked to perform, are overcome by fear. We lose our confidence and allow our insecurities to hinder us. In The Fearless Mind, sports psychologist Craig Manning teaches you how to beat mediocrity and embrace greatness. With many years of experience as a pro tennis player, collegiate tennis coach, and doctor of philosophy, Dr. Manning will help you overcome your fears, expel anxiety, build confidence, and become a high-performing individual no matter what your field.

"If we direct our spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical energy in such a way that brings harmony and balance within ourselves, there is NOTHING we cannot do. It can be done, it has been done before, and it will be done again. Why not now? How we choose to direct our attention is a big component in finding and maintaining a fearless mind."  (Dr. Craig Manning)

Butterflies

Blue Morpho Butterfly, # Abused Animals, Africa Animals, African Animals, Albino Animals, Amazing Animals, Animal, Animals Feel Pain, Animals For Sale

Can I tell you a little about my mother A.K.A... (Mama Jude)? Besides the fact that she is amazing, she is also very talented. One thing most people don't know about my Mother is that she writes beautiful poetry. A few years ago she wrote a poem entitled “Butterflies”

Well; I took this poem and gave it to my Producer/guitarist “Jeff Tackett” with the idea of creating a song. Jeff did just that. He created beautiful heartfelt music that really brought the poem “Butterflies” to life. I went into the studio, recorded the song doing one take and not thinking much about the song after that.

Now...a few years later, music has been redone over my vocals using some of Nashville’s most talented musicians. The players were from Eddy Rabbit, Ricky Skaggs, and Dave Matthews Bands. They also have played with Faith Hill Tim McGraw, etc. The song turned out fantastic. Now if I can only redo vocals.... :) And to think, all of this came from the mind of a beautiful mother!

Spring

Spring has always been one of my favorite times of the Year. I love that it represents new life and a new beginning. I always get anxious for spring. I find I have a renewed sense of energy. I feel as if it will never get here. I dream of fresh scented Lavender dancing through the air, and the laughter of children as they play mid-day in the warm sun. Oh spring I miss you so!

Everyone feels a little crappy sometimes

Have you ever felt like this!?

I’m afraid I have….): I’ve been a little impatient and snappy with my family lately. Why? Too much on my plate! I am a huge believer in giving service, but not at the expense of my own family. It is Time to redirect my energy and focus on things that are most important to me. My FAMILY the LORD and MUSIC!

PS. No one wants to feel like Horse poo!

Silent Night

Christ - Birth - For Unto Us a Child is Born - Simon Dewey
Along with Christmas comes the singing of Christmas songs. I die for Christmas music! One of my favorite Christmas songs is “SILENT NIGHT” I was asked to sing this song the other day. I get emotional every time I sing this song. I find myself thinking about the night Christ was born. Can you imagine how amazing it must have been? Well, things were no different this time. In the first verse I start to lose it, but somehow pulled it together for the rest of the song. Whew!

Silent night, holy night
Son of God, Love's pure light
Radiant beams from Thy holy face
With the dawn of redeeming grace
Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth
Jesus, Lord, at Thy birth "

The best part about the Christmas season, are the fun events leading up to the BIG DAY!

 Fun in the Snow

The glow of a Christmas Tree
Santa!

Lights at the Temple

 School Christmas Programs

I love it All
MERRY CHRISTMAS!
