A few weeks ago my little family went to my hometown for a visit. The kids like to go to Grandma and Grandpas house for a week each summer. They tell me…. “It’s a Magical place” While we were there, we attended the county fair. I notice a few men going here and there doing little odd jobs. As one of the Men walked past me, I couldn’t help but notice written on the back of his shirt it read “Inmate” OK, I get it now…… These were men from the local prison who were out on release time doing assigned work. I sat back and observed these men for awhile. I also watched how others treated them. Some people were going on about their business, and others, giving looks of disgust as if to say “you are a horrible person!” I couldn’t help but think; how awful we would all feel if we had to walk around with our poor choices, and struggles written allover our shirt. Perhaps, we would look at one another differently. And, maybe, we would be a bit surprised. The lord looketh upon the heart and so should we! It was a great reminder that we must do our best not to judge. Only God knows the details of our lives. Our worth is equal!

The worth of souls is GREAT!

Advice from Elder Busche
I am a daughter of my Heavenly Father. He knows who I am. He hears my prayers. He is aware of my imperfections and yet he loves me completely. I am grateful for his guidance and love in my life.

A Well-Planned Retirement
This was in the Wall Street Journal
Outside England 's Bristol Zoo there is a parking lot for 150 cars and 8 buses. For 25 years, its parking fees were managed by a very pleasant attendant. The fees were 1 lb for cars ($1.40), 5 lb for buses (about $7).
Then, one day, after 25 solid years of never missing a day of work, he just didn't show up; so Zoo Management called the City Council and asked it to send them another parking agent.
The Council did some research and replied that the parking lot was the Zoo's own responsibility. The Zoo advised the Council that the attendant was a City employee. The City Council responded that the lot attendant had never been on the City payroll.
Meanwhile, sitting in his villa somewhere on the coast of Spain (or some such scenario), is a man who'd apparently had a ticket machine installed completely on his own; and then had simply begun to show up every day, commencing to collect and keep the parking fees, estimated at about $560 per day -- for 25 years.
Assuming 7 days a week, this amounts to just over $7 million dollars! .......
And no one even knows his name.

Happy Fathers Day to this Hunk of a Man.......I can honestly say that my kids have one of the best Dad’s in the WORLD! He is kind, thoughtful, and very supportive. He is incredibly positive and has instilled in our children a belief, that they can do anything!
Dad,
Not only do I have your brown eyes, I get my olive skin from you, my quirky nose, and my bird legs. When I think of you I am overcome with emotion. I can’t begin to tell you how grateful I am to have you as my Dad.
You have always been true and faithful to what you believe, and you are the most service oriented person I know. Whether you are serving as Bishop, Sunday school teacher, or in the YM program, you always give 110%. I have never known someone to work as hard as you. Your work ethic is unbelievable! You are Always on the Go and have so much energy. It’s hard to believe you are approaching your 70’s. Yikes!
I think of all those late nights you waited up for me, or the long hours of work you put in so we kids could have the things we needed. When something gets tough, and I want to give-up, I just think of you Dad. I think of your persistence and faith, and your willingness to always go the extra mile.
Happy Father's day Lance!
Happy Father’s Day to this AMAZING Guy!

Mother's Day
Dear Mom,
I have been thinking of what gift I could possibly get you for Mother’s Day. I was quickly reminded of all the Wonderful gifts you have given me throughout my life.
Not only did I get my Singing voice from you, but I also have your tenacity and determination for life.
I remember you staying up late on Saturday nights polishing shoes and ironing clothes so we children could be sparkly clean, and ready for church the next day.
When I was younger you would often remind me “There is NOTHING two can’t do, when one is God and the other is you”. I have repeated this little phrase over and over in my mind when I have felt discouraged or overwhelmed.
While in my "less than perfect" young and tender year’s, I am sure you wonderd if I ever listened to anything you were saying. ......I was too busy watching everything you were doing.
You have always been a woman of Faith, Courage, and Integrity. I remember asking you how it is you are always so good. I will never forget what you said. You told me you have a long line of great women who have gone on before you, and you have never wanted to let them down.
You are the least judgmental person I know, and can always see the good in a bad situation. You have never been one to gossip.
Through you I have witnessed, and come to realize that a Mothers Prayer can bring to pass great miracles.
Through you I have witnessed, and come to realize that a Mothers Prayer can bring to pass great miracles.
Of the entire Beautiful Life lesson I have learned from you, the greatest gift you have given me, is the gift of your Testimony.
So........the gift I am giving to you this Mother’s Day, and every Mother’s Day that follows, is to be the best Mother, Wife, Daughter, and Friend......So that one day I too can pass these same gifts on to my Children.
Happy Mother’s Day, Mom
I Love you!

Beautiful
“The difference between pretty and beautiful is-
pretty is temporal-whereas beautiful is eternal.”
